O’Hare Pontiac is now celebrating over 70 years in business! Park Ridge Motors
was established in Park Ridge, Illinois in 1932. In 1958, we moved to the corner
of Miner Street/Northwest Highway and Des Plaines River Road in Des Plaines
and became Ridge Motors, Inc. Thanks to your support, we soon outgrew that
facility and relocated in 1970, down the street to our current facility at River Road
and Oakton. Since that time, Ridge Motors had grown and continues to rank as
one of Pontiac’s top 20 dealers in sales volume nationwide in the 1990’s and one
of General Motors oldest dealership in the country.

In 1987, we added an import dealership to compliment Pontiac. O’Hare Hyundai
became the 2^nd Dealer to open in the Midwest. In less than 3 years, O’Hare
Hyundai sold over 3,000 new Hyundais, establishing itself as the second largest
volume dealership in the Midwest and awarded the prestigious "Board of
Excellence" honor for being in the top 10% in national sales. Today O’Hare Hyundai
is the oldest Hyundai Dealer in the Midwest.

In 1991, O’Hare Honda was purchased from Susk Honda. In less than a year
O’Hare Honda achieved the #1 status in customer satisfaction of all
Chicagoland Honda dealers. Today, O’Hare Honda has one of the top volume
service departments in Chicagoland.

In October 2006, the Pontiac Franchise was sold to Napleton Cadillac and due to
increased demand in service capacity and Honda’s product, O’Hare Honda moved
into the old Hyundai/Pontiac dealership next door and remodeled to reflect the needs
of the consumer for the future. O’Hare Hyundai also expanded by moving into the old
Honda facility and its original home when it was built for Hyundai back in 1987!

Today, O’Hare Auto Group, (Honda and Hyundai) is a full service-state of the art facility
that includes a body shop with our partners at Collision Revision just north of Algonquin
on Lee Street in Des Plaines.

The O’Hare Auto Group retails over 3,000 new and used vehicles annually, at one
location at River Road and Oakton in Des Plaines. The organization is recognized in
Crains Chicago Business as one of the top 500 privately held firms in Illinois.
